Pro Solar Litecharga 800mm Bollard Light Description
A heavy duty solar bollard light which is suitable for use in commercial or home environments, the substantial monocrystalline solar panel is built into the light, so that there's no tricky wiring or external panels to place. At dusk the bollard will light up with full brightness, and then follow a gradual dimming sequence until it reaches 30% brightness after approximately five hours from then on it will remain lit at 30% until dawn. This dimming sequence results in a battery charge that is retained for much longer than usual for solar lighting.
The PIR version lights at 50% brightness and once the PIR motion detector is triggered it will light at 100% brightness for 30 seconds, or until no motion is detected. These solar posts have been IK tested (impact testing) and so are particularly suited for commercial purposes, the body of the lamp is IK10 rated, and the solar panel IK06, so much more robust than typical solar lights for the home.
The standard bollard is available in both warm white or a bright white, both offering 210 Lumens of light at full brightness, and the PIR version in just bright white. Being simple and safe to install in comparison to mains fittings, solar lighting is the environmentally friendly alternative, that will convert the sun into free electricity.
