Pro Solar Hiway High Output PIR Motion Sensor Light Description
A clever auto-function, high output motion sensor light that has a cycle of illumination that helps to prolong the battery charge. The light will automatically come on when it senses darkness and stay constantly on for five hours at 50% brightness, and when it senses motion within eight metres it will switch to full brightness for twenty seconds after no more motion is detected. After five hours, or less than 30% battery capacity, it will switch to full brightness, and then when motion is detected within eight metres, and following twenty seconds of no movement being detected, the light will reduce to 50% brightness, and then after five minutes, the light will turn off until movement is detected again.
Two types of mounting bracket are supplied with this versatile solar light, the arm/surface mount bracket is for simple sturdy mounting onto a wall or flat post, or it can be mounted onto a pole (pole adaptor included), to create a solar street light.
The Hiway motion sensor solar light uses reliable, modern technology for optimum performance. The Hiway has a large polycrystalline (silicon) solar panel, compared to domestic alternatives, and as a result, more sunshine is absorbed and more electricity is generated. This high capacity lithium ion batteries store this energy until required. With sufficient sunrays, the long life LEDs of the Hiway solar light will continue to illuminate throughout the night, 365 days per year. Even in the dullest of weather, this solar light will still illuminate, although they may not last the entire night cycle, which in many cases is not a necessity.
The high quality technology of the pro solar range are a real improvement on older, cheaper alternatives. Installations costs are also minimal with no need for expensive groundworks to be carried out. Consequently, solar is the perfect solution for lighting areas where cable installation is difficult or not possible. The Hiway PIR Solar Light is almost maintenance free with no running cost. Rechargeable lithium ion batteries charge from natural energy which is much more environmentally friendly and have a lifespan of up to 8 years.
FIRST 5 HOURS FROM DUSK: Dim brightness (constant on) increasing to full brightness for approx. 20 secs when motion is detected.
AFTER 5 HOURS or BATTERY CAPACITY 30% OR LESS: Light will turn off after 5 minutes of no motion detection. When motion is detected, full brightness for 20 seconds, dim for 5 minutes, then off.
