These solar lighting systems are perfect for areas lacking mains electricity, such as outhouses, sheds, garages, farms, stables, as well as for camping, travel, and outdoor activities. It operates independently from the grid, relying solely on solar energy or stored power in the battery.
During daylight hours, the solar panel charges a 12V battery housed within the control unit. This battery then supplies power to the 4 x 5W 12V LED lights connected via front sockets on the control unit. The on/off switch is on the bulb cable, about 1 metre from the bulb itself. Additionally, there's a standard 5V USB socket for charging mobile phones and USB-compatible devices.
Both control units boasts an integrated 18Ah Lithium battery with an automatic solar charge controller, ensuring efficient charging while preventing overcharging. The solar input can accept 18-25V DC power from any suitable solar panel. The battery has ample capacity to keep 4 LED lights running continuously for 9-10 hours, or twice as long if only two LED lights are connected.
Installation and usage are hassle-free: the solar panel adapter cables features two standard MC4 connectors for a secure connection to the panel output. Each LED light comes with a 5m cable featuring an On/Off switch. All cables are equipped with connectors for quick "plug and play" installation.
Available in kits with either 100W or 60W solar panel. The larger the panel, the more sun it converts to electricity and the quicker the recharge.
You can also add on extension cables in either 5M or 10M lengths, the cable has input and output connectors on either end and can be used to extend either the solar panel cable or the lightbulb cables, allowing you the flexibility to place the solar panel further away, or extend the bulbs over a greater distance.
