Sensory Fibre Optic Curtain with Colour Change Light Description
This fantastic door or wall curtain comes with a remote control to create various colours and patterned light modes. Great as a background relaxation light, or for children to play with, children can sit under the curtain and safely touch the fibre tails, often used in sensory integration or Snoezelen therapy.
The advantage of using fibre optics in light curtain is the material itself, which can safely be taken in hand, twisted, and do everything possible, so we get the so-called “light in hand”. A light curtain usually hangs on the wall from the ceiling to the floor, which creates the effect of full lighting of the room. The child can sit under the curtain, play with it, or watch it from another part of the room.
The use of light curtains in the classroom is recommended for children with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, speech disorders, anxiety, fears, sensory processing disorders and physical disorders. Fibre optic light curtains are also used in therapeutic work with adults with intellectual disabilities, dementia, anxiety, and depression.
There is also the option of adding a curtain bracket, which allows you to either have the item pushed up against a wall or pull it out at an angle. Pull it out for play, and then fold it away neatly against the wall.
