UV Forensic Torch and Holster Description
Used by police, door staff, security personnel and professional cleaning staff, amongst others, the UV Forensic Torch is a professional quality battery operated device. Capable of detecting forensic and Smartwater markings from up to 4 metres away, the powerful beam is formed by nine high powered UV LED bulbs. Supplied with durable holster for secure storage, the UV Forensic Torch has a strong metal outer with grip sections and push on/off button.
Professional uses for the UV Forensic Torch are endless, and include detection of counterfeit bank notes and ID, drug detection, pest control and identification of bacteria, dirt and dust. The torch is also useful within the home, making dirt and dust detection easy, whilst also capable of curing adhesives, lighting UV art works and to supercharge glow in the dark products. As the torch is capable of detecting Smartwater markings, it is excellent for use to make marking your belongings easier.

I have rated this item a 5 star rating because quite simply I needed a nanometre of 365 to detect bacteria, and it does just that. For this to be a forensic torch it needs to be 495nm. Other than the misleading title, I love my torch. It is awesome.

Very good robust metal casing. Convenient on/off thumb switch at rear. Good rapid service.
