Goloka Resin Incense Description
One of the oldest aromatics used since the beginning of civilisation, resin incense is produced from small chunks of hardened tree sap. When burned they produce an intense and stimulating fragrance with long lingering effect. The most common way to burn incense effectively is over a charcoal disk placed onto a heat resistant plate, or with a burner specifically designed for resin. They are particularly useful outdoors to help with insect control, the intense scents along with the smoke produced can drive insects away, and disguise the scent of humans! A great idea for barbecues or firepits, once your food has been served and the charcoal or wood is starting to burn out, you can add resin incense to make use of those embers and deter those pesky bugs!
Guggul - Has a warm and slightly sweet balsamic, herby and earthy aroma, adds a sense of tranquillity.
Myrrh - Similar to frankincense, myrrh has an aromatic woody, and slightly licoricey smell.
Benzoin - Commonly used in perfumes due to its sweet vanilla and amber fragrance.
7 Powers - A blend of different resins to produce oriental, woody, and soft floral notes.
