75cm Red Heart Garden Stakes (3 Pack) Description

Add the loving glow of a fluorescent red heart to your garden or your home. A fantastic alternative to solar or mains powered lighting, these hearts appear to light up along their edges, particularly in low light, so they are the perfect garden accessory in shaded or dark areas of your garden. Not just for the garden, they would make a fantastic addition to a romantic bouquet of flowers, that could then be placed in a vase after the roses have long gone. When they are used in the garden, they will add movement, colour, and light, mounted onto a 75cm long thin stem, they will catch the slightest breeze and bob and sway around. Another great use for these hearts are as decorative items at a UV party, or in a sensory room, as they are extremely UV reactive and will fluoresce brightly under UV blacklight.

How does it work?
Made from a special fluorescent acrylic with a laser cut edge, they collect short wave light that we can't see, and transfers the light into a visible long wave light along the laser cut edge, sometimes called "Edge Glow" or "Lit Edge" technology.

How does they differ?
They AREN'T 'Photoluminescent' (Glow in the dark), they don't need to charge, and they don't need to be in pitch black to see the effect, in fact they look best at dusk and dawn, low light, or cloudy weather.

They AREN'T 'Solar Powered', the sun doesn't need to charge these, there are no batteries, no panels, and no wiring, neither do they have to placed in a sunny south facing location to work.
