Bring striking colour and movement to outdoor spaces with the Cosmic Hydra Solar Meteor Festoon Lights. These are not standard bulbs. Each bulb features a central filament containing 20 micro LEDs with built-in digital effects. Rather than simply flashing, every bulb displays a range of animated patterns within the filament, to look like climbing, snowing, dancing or breathing effects, creating a far more dynamic display than basic flash or static lighting.
Designed to deliver commercial-quality performance with standout visual impact, these multi-coloured festoon lights are ideal for pub gardens, hospitality venues, pergolas, verandas, outdoor seating areas and high-end home gardens. With decorative flowing light effects that mimic meteor showers, they offer a premium alternative to standard festoon lighting.
Each set includes 10 GLS-style bulbs spaced at 50cm intervals per 5M, with red, green, blue, daylight white and warm white LEDs for a vibrant, eye-catching display. Every bulb is commercial-grade and shatterproof, giving these festoon lights the durability needed for demanding outdoor environments while still offering the polished look expected in premium domestic settings. Whether used to create atmosphere in a bar terrace or add a statement feature to a luxury garden, they combine style with dependable build quality.
Rated IP44 for outdoor use, these solar festoon lights are built for year-round decorative lighting in sheltered outdoor spaces. The lights can be hung from the cable for a draped effect or mounted using the T-bar connector for a more structured installation. Each run is fitted with simple waterproof DConnect Plug & Play connectors, making set-up fast and straightforward.
The highly efficient solar panel can be mounted either into soft ground using the supplied spike or fixed to fences, posts or other solid surfaces. A 2m cable between the solar panel and first bulb gives greater flexibility when positioning the panel for the best sun exposure. For additional convenience, the panel also features USB-C charging, allowing you to top up the battery during dull weather and maintain reliable performance when sunlight is limited.
The included remote control makes it easy to switch between effects, brightness levels and timer settings. You don't have to use the remote control, there is a simple push button control on the panel where you can scroll through the modes, it also has a memory function, so will automatically come back on to your last mode.
