Sensory Orthopaedic Giant Jigsaw Play Mats Description

Play mats that are specifically crafted to support the healthy development of children, shaped like giant jigsaw pieces they connect together and disassemble easily, and can be connected to other sets to create one huge play area. When children walk along these mats it enhances foot and lower limb strength and also helping to promote balance, preventing and addressing common foot and leg issues such as valgus ankles, sunken arches, flat feet, and poor core muscle strength. There is a little guide included with recommended exercises on the mats.

Walking barefoot on the tiles, allows kids to discover various textures, stimulating little minds and helping to develop spatial awareness. The tiles are modelled on real natural elements like logs, shells, pinecones, and conkers etc to create interesting 3D patterns, the tiles are either soft with a little bounce under foot, or more rigid, again adding to the interest and feel. Beautiful vibrant colours, or in the case of the eco mats, natural browns, mixing and matching everything together just adds more interest.
