Each garland bursts with colour, always a unique mix of patterns and hues reclaimed from recycled sari fabric. By its very nature, sari material comes in assorted, mixed colours and designs, giving every garland a unique, eye-catching character. No two are the same, a beautiful result of reusing what’s already in circulation.
These sustainable garlands not only bring boho charm and colour to any space, but also contribute to eco-conscious living by repurposing textiles that would otherwise go to waste.
The garlands are 2 meters long and come with hanging loops on either end, allowing you to hang them vertically or horizontally. They can be draped, wrapped, or woven around just about anything to create instant colour and texture. Use them as window dressings, party decorations, table runners, alternative bunting, festive touches, tent or campervan décor, even costume accessories. However you choose to style them, they’ll always bring something bold and beautiful.
Each garland is handmade in India by a small family run business, led by a husband and wife who subcontract to disadvantaged groups within their community. They also support local charitable organisations and community projects, ensuring your purchase has a positive ripple effect far beyond your home.
Please note: due to the nature of recycled sari fabric, we are unable to take colour requests for this multicoloured version. If you're looking for something more specific, we also offer a version made with predominantly blue tones
