What makes the Sollux especially practical is its separate solar panel. This allows you to position the panel in the best possible spot for charging, ideally in full sun and south-facing, while placing the light itself exactly where you need it most, including shadier areas such as beneath trees, along borders, or around architectural features. Because the solar panel is larger than those found on standard domestic solar lights, it captures more sunlight and delivers a much more powerful, dependable performance.
The 25W Sollux produces up to 500 lumens of crisp 6500K daylight white light, providing coverage of up to 80m². It is ideal for uplighting trees, feature planting, walls, signage, and garden focal points, creating a striking effect with minimal installation effort.
For even greater flexibility, the Sollux includes a 4 metre cable between the light and panel, with an optional 5 metre extension cable available separately. This is particularly useful when installing the fitting in shaded locations, allowing the panel to be positioned further away in direct sunlight for more effective charging.
Control is simple with the included long-range remote control with a range of up to 20 metres. Choose from a variety of convenient operating modes including dusk-to-dawn, timer settings, and dimming functions, so you can tailor the lighting output to suit the space and time of year.
The Sollux also features a digital charge display, showing the remaining battery percentage at a glance. Its long-life LiFePO4 lithium battery is designed for excellent charge retention and durability, with an expected lifespan of up to 8 years. After approximately 5–6 hours of strong sunlight, the light can provide up to 12–14 hours of illumination, depending on the mode selected.
