Olympia Solar Path & Pedestal Lights Description

Professional aluminium lights with a durable and decorative diffuser, both sizes feature the same impressively bright 420 lumens of bright daylight white light via the superior quality Epistar LED chips with a 50,000 hour life, which is over 7 years if used constantly all year round, or they can be turned off and stored for 6 months if not needed, and to provide many more years!

The path lights stand at 80cm tall so are perfect to light driveways and paths, and are available in standard or PIR, the smaller pedestal version could also be used as a low level path light, and at 38cm tall they make impressive gate post lights, or look fabulous placed along a wall. As the lights are so bright with excellent spread, they are recommended to be placed 3 meters apart which would provide substantial path lighting.

The high capacity battery in these lights means that even on cloudy or rainy days it will re-charge efficiently, and even when there's barely any sunlight at all there is enough power for 23 hours of solid light, so around 2 or 3 nights illumination. They are able to last so long at night for all year round use due to the clever dimming sequence (applies to the NON PIR versions) for the first hour they light at 100% brightness, then at 80% for the next 2 hours, 50% for the following 2 hours, then at 30% for the next 9 hours...or until dawn. Most domestic solar lights light at full brightness until the battery is flat, and in winter months, when we often need the light most, you may only get 2 or 3 hours before the battery is flat.

PIR version :- At dusk, the Olympia PIR illuminates at 50% brightness, and when the PIR is triggered it switches to 100% illumination for either 30 seconds, or until no more motion is detected.
