Growing herbs or plants hydroponically is an attractive and interesting way to not only see the fronds of your plant, but to enjoy watching the roots develop, and unlike when growing in soil, you can avoid over watering, which is a common mistake. Use bottled water as tap water is often too chlorinated for the plants, and perhaps treat your little plant to a drop of liquid fertilizer. A lot of herbs grow particularly well in water, so using the vases in the kitchen is a great idea to have fresh herbs on hand, not only to look fantastic, but to add fresh and vibrant flavour to your culinary creations.
