HEXIFLEX Flexible Interlocking Hexagons - 1250 Pieces
Containing 1250 pieces in a mixture of 12 vibrant colours, this Hexiflex set comes in a handy storage case and includes building instructions. The pieces are just 2.8cm wide and are not suitable for kids under 3 years, and are probably more suited to those over six years old. Because each piece is flexible it is possible to create cylindrical 3D builds.
Although the pieces of Hexiflex are small, they would still be a good construction toy for those with poor vision and limited dexterity such as the elderly because they have a lovely soft tactile feel and you can feel where they connect to each other, and because of the softness, it doesn't take much effort to push the pieces together.
