I, too, bought this bulb to replace 2 fire glow and spinner bulbs.
I am pretty pleased with them/it. I would caution buyers to take careful note of the dimensions, 17 cm long. One filled the space in my fire, and required a little modification.

Bought these to use in a stage production set in the 1800s. We needed a gas lamp effect. These really did the job. Looked great on set and attracted a lot off comments. Great service too. Ordered on Sunday, delivered Tuesday morning. Very pleased!

We have an old electric fire which we don't use apart from the fire effect formerly driven by a 60w fireglow bulb which drove a rotating disc, unfortunately LED bulbs don't generate heat so no moving flame effect for years, this bulb is now installed and the cosy flame effect is better than it ever was, really pleased with this purchase.
