Christmas Tree Lights
TIP - A good rule of thumb when choosing fairy lights is 100 bulbs per 2 feet of tree, the average UK Christmas tree height is 6' tall, so a set with 300 bulbs would be ideal. Another way is to work it out is by length, so we'd recommend 5 meters of lights per 2' of tree, so again for a 6' tree, that would need a 15M long light string, and for every foot over that, add another 5 meters. Of course there are so many variables, whether you're wrapping all the way around, or just zig-zagging, if your tree is particularly rotund around the bottom, or if you prefer a sprinkling of light, or the most sparkly tree in town, but the above formula is a good place to start.
