These 9cm 3D Printed Fidget Cones are made of two interlocking cone-shaped pieces with a mesmerising spiral pass through design. As they twist and slide together the motion feels smooth and almost illogical, creating a calming and hypnotic effect that is great for stress relief, relaxation, and focus.

Colourful, Entertaining, and a Surprising Noise!

I'm an adult woman with Asperger's, and I'm very pleased with this one! It's a great design; the shapes fit together perfectly, but they don't just push together several ways, they push right through and out the other side! It means that playing with this toy feels very fluid, whereas with other things it can be a bit stop/start or you need to reset. Visually it's satisfying; the proportions, curves, colour scheme and mix of matt and metallic finishes all work together beautifully, not to mention the natural spin as one half combines with the other. Must mention the noise it makes. For those of you unaware, 3D printing works by building up very thin layers of plastic, so the curves of this toy are not 100% smooth. Instead, the curved edge is actually made of tiny steps. When one half of the cone pushes through the other, the 'steps' rub together and make a noise. It sound like the mechanism of a small wind up toy. I like it. I think it adds an extra layer of interest, but I can imagine there will be people that find it grating. The texture if the plastic is smooth with just a slight hint of the 3D print layers. It's a good size, it fits in my hand well and I can keep a grip on it easily, I think a child will also find it easy to manipulate. The base has a 5cm diameter and it's 9cm tall. It doesn't smell. Because of the shape of the outer cone it isn't especially strong, I don't think it could withstand being thrown onto a hard surface, so perhaps not great for younger children. However, it is perfectly strong enough for intended use by those that can be kind to it. Can be washed with soap and water, but will need some time to dry due to all the grooves.
