These beautiful star lanterns are hand made in India from 100% cotton waste, involving no chemicals. Made in Jaipur on a Fair trade basis using an old heritage technique, these impressively large 60cm lanterns contain a wooden frame with built in warm white LEDs adding sparkle to these stunning stars. Available in six trending colours, these impressive lanterns look great on their own or hung together in clusters and battery operated, they can be hung anywhere to create stylish decor accents in your home.

Nice but not robust

The idea is great, the craftsmanship is substandard. The seams are all glued together. The glue spreads in the manufacturing process and the star panels stick together. The velvet at the seams also has a lot of glue on them. When trying to assemble the star, the glued seams then came apart. We had to tape every seam on the inside. They look great from far away, but understand that this is not a premium product. The battery run led light insert requires 3 AA batteries.

The star is beautiful but the lights didn’t show much and didn’t last long. Will have to buy better lights to illuminate it

That's odd; these usually illuminate pretty well -- make sure you're using new, non-rechargable batteries and if you still have issues please get in touch!

Met all expectations

The stars really are very pretty. I've been impressed with the quality. There is a lovely ribbon with a toggle to open & close the star, that works very well. There is a timer option on the battery pack ON/OFF button in the middle. I've yet to find out how long that is for or if it works. I'm just working out how to hang them from the ceiling. I can tell you they weight 274g.
