T-qualizer Sound Activated

Beware of youtube videos that appear to show the same T-shirt, but are actually showing a higher quality example of similar merchandise than is to be found here. LED panel is STITCHED on with only a single row of what seems to be insubstantial stitching, NOT helpfully attached with velcro as superior models are.

Likewise, contrary to other feedback, washing is HAND WASH ONLY (instructions forbid using in a machine even on hand wash settings), and it looks as though they expect you to submerge an electronic LED display and cables in water, which will almost certainly break them over time, if not immediately.

WHY isn't the front panel removable like it so clearly should be (and is in every video you'll find showing these things) for machine washing ?!

Despite being on a much smaller panel than the pictures here suggest (that needs fixing, glow company) LEDs themselves are OK, and bright, but as others have mentioned, is not accurate to frequencies, but just makes any of the lights flash in a pattern. I have yet to test it at a gig but will be doing so in a couple of days.

Belt clip that comes with the battery pack falls off with the slightest effort - highly unstable - I wouldn't use it.

In general the feeling that comes from this product is of a device that was great in concept but has been poorly and very cheaply executed / manufactured. I do not expect mine to last long at the musical performances where I was hoping to use it. I shall submit another review to correct this if I am proved wrong.

T-shirt material good quality, and it can be machine-washed (remove the batteries first!) Graphic equalizer not as sound-sensitive as hoped - you have to have background music quite loud to get the full effect. The equalizer panel itself is quite thick, so I hope it proves to be very well adhered to the t-shirt to withstand normal wear and tear.

Bit worried this would only show up in the dark, delighted to find this is a bright number in all conditions! An improved model could afford more space to the glow panel. Although it responds to sound levels, I do not believe it responds by frequency even though it "shows" a frequency chart, again this sophistication in future model?
Size ordered was medium - the shirt itself is good quality material, quite heavy really, and is not a slimming fit; next time I'd go for small from this range even though I can only dream of small elsewhere.
