This very clever night light is a unique award winning invention by British inventor Chris Haines. Safe-T-Light provides a combination of safety lighting features:
* Low Level Night Light
In every day use, Safe-T-Light provides non intrusive lighting during the hours of darkness. Its light sensor switches on the lighting head as darkness falls, providing safety lighting for hallways, stairs, etc. Uses less than 3 watts.
* Emergency Power Failure Lighting (power cut)
During a power cut, the lighting head switches to its internal rechargeable battery, providing emergency lighting for approximately 10 hours. The head can then be removed to provide an emergency torch.
* Rechargeable torch always available
The lighting head can be easily removed from the main unit at any time to provide a useful rechargeable torch. Its LED technology will provide a long lasting beam for general household use.
The SAFE-T-LIGHT's inventor Chris Haynes, demonstrated the SAFE-T-LIGHT on BBC News.
He also appeared on the BBCs Dragons Den programme demonstrating the SAFE-T-LIGHT
