The Rubik’s TouchCube seamlessly blends cutting edge technology with the world’s #1 puzzle to create the first completely electronic, solvable Rubik’s Cube!
The Rubik’s TouchCube features touch sensor technology on all 6 sides and lights in every square; slide the lights with a simple swipe of your finger to mimic the moves of the original Rubik’s Cube. To eliminate false inputs or moves, the Rubik’s TouchCube uses a motion-detecting accelerometer to determine which side is facing up and active. The Rubik’s TouchCube also includes a built-in solver, so now anyone can easily learn how to solve the Cube step by step.
Interface: The 7.5cm x 7.5cm x 7.5cm cube has six sides that each includes 9 touch sensitive squares, each with three LEDs that light simultaneously to produce one of the 6 Rubik’s colours. When the player slides his or her finger across 3 squares in a vertical line, horizontal line, or an L-shape near a corner, it will cause the lights to slide around the Rubik’s TouchCube to mimic the 6 different twisting directions of the original Rubik’s Cube. An accelerometer is used to activate the side facing up only, which stops your fingers from making swipes by mistake.
Game Features/Modes: Activated by ‘double clicking’ the centre square on each side, which is each assigned a mode. Includes Hint, Solve, Scramble, Undo, Sound Control, and On/Off Modes.
In-game Memory: The Cube remembers your exact spot in the current puzzle even if the Cube is turned off and on again.
Batteries: Internal rechargeable Ni-Cd batteries are charged when the TouchCube is placed in its display stand. The Rubik’s TouchCube will alert the player when the batteries are low and fall asleep after being idle for 1 minute.
