The Glow Company is teaming up with eccentric TV scientist Dr Bunhead (Brainiacs and Blue Peter) in a Guinness World Record attempt to create the Worlds longest glow necklace. The glowing event is due to take place at 2pm on Saturday 9th April and is part of Dr Bunhead's stage performance at the Usherhall in Edinburgh as part of the Edinburgh International Science Week and International Year of Chemistry. As you can imagine, with a record attempt of such gigantic proportions, Dr Bunhead's going to need some help and so The Glow Company and Dr Bunhead are inviting one hundred lucky audience members to take part in the event and become record breakers! The proposed giant glow necklace will measure a whopping one thousand feet and will wrap around Dr Bunhead and his one hundred helpers several times in this fun hands-on lesson in chemiluminescence which will see the classic party glow necklace become a glowing giant!
Official Guinness World Record staff will be on hand to adjudicate the fantastic illuminating attempt and to say thanks, The Glow Company is providing complimentary
(maybe a little smaller than the record breaker!) and a 6" glowstick to each lucky participant as a souvenir of their moment in the spotlight.
Be part of this exciting event. The Glow Company have four tickets to give away to one lucky winner that'll guarantee your participation in the world record attempt. All you need to do is to be free on Saturday 9th April and enter our fabulous competition. Good luck!
