Bought this for my very bouncy (and destructive!) Springador and she LOVES it! The colours are amazing, making playing in the dark easy and fun. Nearly impossible to lose, works in the wet, mud and snow. Very durable (my chewy dog hasn't even made a scratch on it) and not too heavy; it also fits in a standard 'ball flinger' so can throw even further. The only issue: anyone else out in the dark thinks they are seeing a UFO not a ball!!!!

I've bought my dog various reflective jackets, collars and light-up collars etc to see her in the dark but this works far better and is her favourite toy ever. She never loses it, so I can always see her as well as the ball. Brilliant, robust. I have the multi-coloured one. Use it every day and batteries lasted 2 months.

A Talking Point in the Park

Very sturdy ball which is not full of dog teeth marks after playtime. It has freaked out a few people while walking in the park at night as it looks like a floating ball but other owners are keen to know where I bought it. Only one point - how do I change the batteries?

The Glow Company Says: Hi Marie, thanks for the great feedback. We've found that the easiest way to change the batteries is to use the handle of a spoon to lever the battery bung out, tap the ball to get the batteries out and then replace...a little bit fiddly and a little bit stiff, but it needs to be so that the batteries don't fly out when you use the ball. I love this product. It really is a very good way of seeing the dog in the dark. I have had several comments from other dog owners who also want one. The light is very bright - and changes colour. It also bounces - so its a great workout for my energetic boxer.

I absolutely LOVE these balls - they are just what the Vet ordered for getting my dog some exercise before & after work on these long winter nights - I had a ball that lights up on impact previously but it used the battery so quickly as it was just lite all the time if I carried it around & batteries were not replaceable - so this is the ideal alternative - not only does my dog love it - so do I! Makes me giggle watching it fly through the air wondering if any one who happens to be looking out their window think it's a UFO!! Have a blue one too which I also love (just can't decide which is my favourite, when I take out the blue one I like that best & visa versa with the red ball. Would really recommend for anyone who has a dog who likes chasing balls in these dark winter months! Really excellent!
